History
RIPCO Systems is part of the RIPCO, Ltd. network. Located in Otwell, IN, RIPCO Ltd. is a third-generation family owned business founded in 1962 by Otwell native, Gerald “Rip” Sorgius. Rip loved farming and devoted his entire life to the agricultural industry. As a farmer himself, he recognized the vital functions complete grain systems perform on working farms and was determined to fill the dire need he saw for the specialized services RIPCO now provides. With the launch of his enterprise, Rip Sorgius tenaciously led by example—instilling his work ethic and demand for excellence in those who’d follow in his footsteps. And like the grain systems themselves, he solidly built his company from the ground up.
Today, RIPCO Systems is the retail construction division of RIPCO, Ltd. This segment of the company specializes in the custom design, construction, and servicing of complete grain systems. Our team of dedicated sales personnel, engineers, millwrights, electricians, and factory-trained technicians can service the needs of small family farms, large grain elevators, commercial feed mills, and distilleries. At RIPCO Systems, we understand the dedication, responsiveness and respect it takes to build long-term relationships with our customers—and our commitment includes delivering all projects in a professional and timely manner. This approach has served our customers, and our brand, well. Since 1962, our solid reputation has been our most compelling sales tool.
